Orange fronted Parakeet / Kākāriki karaka pin in Hard Enamel designed by Natty.

These colourful parakeets are critically endangered, the rarest parakeet in Aotearoa with less than 500 in the wild, found in a handful of Beech forests in the South Island. There are several recovery and captive breeding programmes that are successfully releasing birds to pest free islands and the Brook Waimārama Sanctuary in the South Island.

The pin is approximately 4cm high and 3cm wide and packaged on an illustrated backing card with two rubber back fixing.
